C/C++ for Beginners Internship
A true from-scratch programming month. You learn C first so that memory, pointers and how a program actually runs stop being mysterious, then move into C++ with classes and the STL. Deliberately slower on pointers and memory than most courses, because that is where beginners stall and where vivas concentrate.
What the month looks like
Week 1 — C fundamentals
- Write, compile and debug C programs confidently
- Use control flow, functions and arrays correctly
Week 2 — Pointers and memory
- Understand pointers, references and dynamic allocation
- Work with strings, structs and multi-file programs
Week 3 — Moving into C++
- Use classes, constructors and operator overloading
- Apply inheritance and basic object-oriented design
- Read and reason about someone else’s C++ code
Week 4 — STL and final project
- Use vectors, maps and STL algorithms in real solutions
- Ship a small C++ project with clean, working code
